Quemasantos es un proyecto internacional de musica Metal en Español.

Todo comenzó con la simple idea de crear una canción especial para un compilado de bandas en Chilenas protestando por la calidad de la educación. Como resultado la canción ‘Somos Legion’ fue licenciada y publicada por los productores de la serie de TV Canadiense “Motive” para el ‘Episodio 3 de la Temporada 4, llamado ‘Index Case’ SO4E03.

Desde ahi solo fue seguir creando musica metal en Español a través de la distancia.

El primer video de apoyo se llamara ‘12 Balas’ y esta programado para si publicación el día 15 de Abril, 2022 a las 12pm, horario de NYC directamente el canal de Youtube de la banda. youtube.com/c/quemasantos

El album Quemasantos fue grabado entre 2015-2022. Fue mezclado y masterizado por Ignacio Orellana en los Oily Sound Studios de New York. El album esta compuesto por un total de 9 tracks incluyendo ‘Somos Legion’, version original el cual fue mezclado y masterizado por Ignacio Figueroa en Viña del Mar, Chile en 2015.

PIROSAINT 'Know Thyself'

New York band Pirosaint have released its new full length album called 'Know Thyself' via Digmetalworld.

To celebrate the release the band have debuted a new track in form of lyric video on its YouTube page.

The album was recorded between 2013-2016 and 2020-2021 at Oily Sounds Studios NYC by Ignacio Orellana. The vocal tracks were recorded by Eduardo Vidal and Andrés Valdivieso in Santiago, Chile. All the guitar solos were recoded at Oily Sounds Studios by Ignacio Orellana, Angel Thorne Music CO LLC by Rob Thorne in Bethel, CT, except ‘Everyday’s War’, recorded by Regisson Silva in Sao Paulo, Brazil at his home studio.

‘Know Thyself’ will be digitally release on Friday Aug 20th, 2021 on the band’s Bandcamp page and Digmetalworld’s first.

Then, on Sep 01st on all the streaming platforms and the physical copies of the album will be distributed by MVD in North America and Europe.

The tracklist for ‘Know Thyself’ contains new compositions, and some never released ones and also a special bonus track for the ones that follows the band from its beginnings back in 1989.

All the lyrics for ‘Know Thyself’ were written by Gonzalo Rodriguez and Ignacio Orellana.

All the music was written by Pirosaint, except

‘The Debt’ and ‘Faster than before’ by Gonzalo Rodriguez, Alfredo Vicencio and Ignacio Orellana.

"Infected Brutality" contains Pirosaint's original demos, "Atrocity Not Condign '92" and "Infected Dreams '94" recorded originally in Santiago, Chile by Jose Luis Corral at the Rec. Studios. The album also includes four previously unreleased live track. With this album the band celebrates the 20th anniversary of the second demo "Infected Dreams.

"Damnation", the sophomore release of the US Metal band DOWNFIRE, presents a pretty rare combination of Heavy Metal. Even if I don't like to associate modern US Metal with the term Heavy Metal, DOWNFIRE's release slightly changed my way of thinking of this rather young sub-genre. The main reason is that this mix ensures that the ages of Metal, both new and old, will get their fair share in the band's material. What was interesting is that this sort of fair share didn't mean that they did half of the tracklist new or vice versa, it was a pretty much a well done infusion.

PRIMATE 'Virusscanning'

PRIMATE was born on 1994, in Santiago of Chile (South America), thier first album was called "Primate" recorded in 1996 at Rec Studios, they were assisted by Anton Reisenegger (Criminal), Rodrigo Contreras (Criminal) and José Luis Corral as a Sound Engineer.

Out off this album we have two video clips that were played out on MTV’s latino called "Abortion" and "No way No choice".

On 2001 they came back to the studios to make their second album called: "Virusscanning", this time they recorded at AKUSTIC Studios under Mariano Pavez’s hands (sound engineer). Their line up this time was the following: Marcelo Aliaga (vocals/guitar), Carlos Cárdenas (bass/backing vocals) and (ex-Pirosaint) Ignacio Orellana (drums).

This album offered one song in Spanish. A year after the recording was made Ignacio left the band , (he moved to US) so they had to get a new couple members.

Primate’s line up is: Marcelo Aliaga (vocals/guitar), Carlos Cardenas (bass/backing vocals), Luis Catalan(Guitar), Cristian Lopez (Drums).
